Ogni anno la domenica che precede il primo giorno dell’anniversario (29 agosto), al termine della Celebrazione Eucaristica, alla presenza di numerosi fedeli viene aperta la teca che custodisce il Quadro Miracoloso e benedetto il cotone.
Viene ripetuto questo semplice gesto di poggiare il cotone sul volto dell’effige della Madonna e poi distribuito ai presenti e predisposto per metterlo nelle immaginette (vedi foto), per quanti durante il corso dell’anno ne fanno richiesta.
