Morta Emma Morosini, la Pellegrina dei Santuari Mariani
All’età di 96 anni, giovedì 10 settembre 2020, è morta Emma Morosini, la pellegrina che raggiungeva a piedi i Santuari mariani, dormendo spesso all’addiaccio.
Per voto ha visitato i Santuari Mariani di tutto il Mondo: da Santiago de Compostela a Gerusalemme, da Aparecida a Loreto, da Lujan a Lourdes, da Fatima a Guadalupe, da Siracusa alla sua ultima tappa Częstochowa in Polonia.
Più volte, e fino a pochi anni fa, con semplicità e umiltà di spirito, è arrivata in pellegrinaggio a Siracusa, dinnanzi alla Madonnina (foto il alto) per presentarle le preghiere e le lacrime delle persone che incontrava lungo il suo cammino, che percorreva con il suo immancabile trolley attrezzato di pochi oggetti essenziali: due mele, due panini, una bottiglia di acqua, un cambio di biancheria e un ombrello.
Amava dire: “Non faccio niente di straordinario: metto un piede dinanzi all’altro e cammino, come camminano tutti. Solo che la meta è sempre un santuario della Madonna: di mio metto solo i piedi; per le varie difficoltà che si possono incontrare è sempre la Provvidenza che rimette tutto a posto”.
Emma, infermiera in pensione, nei suoi ultimi 25 anni di vita, per voto, si era trasformata in una “pellegrina da Guinness”.
Il Santuario della Madonna delle Lacrime la ricorda con molto affetto nella preghiera della Messa delle ore 19.00 di Domenica 13 settembre 2020. A Lei chiede di presentare le preghiere dei pellegrini che come lei arrivano al Santuario di Siracusa per trovare conforto nella Madonnina di Siracusa.
