The mysteries of the rosary

Within the Shrine park, between the Mons. Giuseppe Costanzo gate and the St. Joseph gate a pathway unwinds along which are the fifteen mysteries of the rosary.
The bronze sculptures have been crafted by various artists: the Annunciation, Jesus in the Garden of Olives, the Crucifixion, the Resurrection, the Assumption are the work of Prof. Giuseppe Caruso; Jesus crowned with thorns was crafted by Prof. Otello Montaguti; the finding of the Child Jesus in the temple by Prof. Otello Montaguti.
The birth of Jesus in Bethlehem, the visit of Mary to St. Elizabeth, the meeting of Jesus with the aged Simeon, the flagellation of Jesus at the column and the carrying of the Cross are the work of Francesco Caldarella and gift of Miss Malfa.
